Collaborative information seeking is a process, where students are collaboratively seeking, searching and retrieving information. The process is interactive and mutually beneficial, and the information is explicitly defined among participants.
There are several reference management tools such as Zotero, EndNote, Mendeley and RefWorks that can be used collaboratively for collecting, organizing, sharing and referring sources of information.
