The use of activating assignments such as quizzes, drag and drop tasks, fill in blanks, finding hotspots, image sequencing, multiple choice tests etc. will make the learning engaging.
H5P content can be easily shared across multiple learning management systems (e.g. Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard).
There are many alternative technologies. For example, Quizlet or Mentimeter which enables activities such as multiple choice tests, word clouds, open ended questions, scales, or rankings.
