Learning resources can rely on different formats to convey information, i.e., a mixture of two or more presentation modes (text, image, audio, video). They can foster meeting the various learning styles of learners, by means of providing support to the visual, auditory, reading and writing and kinaesthetic (VARK).
Learning can be enriched by articulating different resources on the same topic, for instance replicating the pronunciation of a given word, by using the Google pronunciation tool (and simultaneously move one’s mouth while learning it) or using visual dictionaries that incorporate text and image.
