There are several ways to recognize and evaluate learners’ digital skills. The frameworks enable to plan needed training for an individual student or student group. An example framework is DigComp which is a European framework for citizens and educators to understand and develop digital competence. This and related other frameworks enable discussion, reflection and self-assessment of one’s own digital competence.
