Peer feedback activities

Level

Peer assessment is an assessment method in which students actively participate and evaluate the submissions of their peers (possibly their own). If all participants work on the same task, the whole process is comparable and at the end the participants can generate or receive constructive feedback.
The assessment process is carried out according to predefined criteria and an objective procedure is conducive.

Advantages:
  • There is a peer assessment activity (workshop) in Moodle. You define the assessment sheets and you can choose from four different formats.
  • Students can share written work, videos, presentations or other assignments for mutual feedback. Providing feedback expectations or a rubric is helpful.
