Pause procedure is an activity also applicable in online teaching. The educators structure the lessons in smaller chunks. During the session, they interrupt (pause) the lecturing to let students share their 3-5 key takeaways and/or any questions they might have. For sharing the answers, the students can use a chat.
Students can share their answers in the chat or on the built-in whiteboard of Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
