Sharing cloud content

Area

Level

Storing resources in a cloud is very useful. It allows educators and learners to share and access them from anywhere and restore old versions when needed. Some clouds allow users to collaboratively work in a document or to create content collaboration accounts. This way, educators and learners that have permissions can access, share, sync and collaborate on files using any device (mobile or desktop).

Educators can ask learners to share their learning outputs regularly in a cloud or even to develop the work collaboratively in shared documents. Tools that can be used are: Goodle Drive, Dopbox or OneDrive.

The use of this type of tools allows educators to better monitor the learners’ work and to provide timely feedback; thus, it can be very important in terms of formative assessment.
