Brainstorming is an activity that enables students to think freely and creatively when trying to come up with ideas. This approach can shift perspective, facilitate team collaboration and refine initial ideas into something even better. It is possible to perform this activity in an online setting: the students are divided in groups, for instance in breakout rooms and are invited to post their ideas on a digital whiteboard.
