Alternative assignment formats



An educator should consider in advance for allowing a few alternative assignment formats. Recognizing various learning challenges and addressing learners diverse learning needs enables students to progress flexibly (e.g. students with dyslexia, diverse neuro-psychiatric disorders).

Encouraging students to discuss them proactively with the educators makes it possible to agree upon the best option for each student to show their learning outcomes or expertise.

Written assignments, videos, podcasts, oral exams can be options for the same content.
