Educators can easily create interactive quizzes, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering, gap-filling activities, etc. Examples of digital tools that can be used are:

  • Kahoot! – to create multiple-choice quizzes that can be accessed via a web browser or the Kahoot! App;
  • Hot potatoes – to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide Web.

These activities can be integrated in LMSs and can be stand-alone activities or be integrated with other resources to create a learning unit.
