An assessment e-portfolio is a compilation of the learner’s work to showcase the learning progression and achievement, i.e., the extent to which the learning outcomes have been accomplished. Thus, e-portfolios evidence learning over time in electronic format, which can be advantageous not only to promote the learner’s creativity and digital competences.
Educators can use e-portfolio tools integrated in some LMSs (e.g. CANVAS) and also online rubrics to check if learners have reached the intended milestones. In addition, educators can also have a clearer glimpse over how learning is developed based on the learner’s e-portfolios.
