Reusing open educational resources refers to accessing to/downloading materials produced by others (e.g., images, class plan, videos, etc.) and adopting them, with no modifications to the original, for personal development or professional purposes – i.e., using them “as is”.
Resources can be reused in its unaltered original format in a wide range of ways (e.g., in class, on a website, in LMSs, etc.). Reusing resources when creating your teaching materials can be a worthwhile activity and can help you save time in the long-term. The use of resources produced by others should respect copyright by including attribution to the original author and other free distribution rights to share, use, and build upon a work that the author has defined.
