The learners get to know each other through commonalities in a live online session or get to know each other even better in an existing team and improve communication (Symonds, 2022).
Here briefly the activity steps:
- Divide the learners into groups of 3.
- Each group should make a list of interesting commonalities (avoid general ones like gender etc.!).
- In addition, have each learner find a uniqueness about themselves and write it down.
- There will be 5 minutes for this task.
- After the 5 minutes, each team shows their list/results to everyone else on an online whiteboard (Padlet, Lino).
