Think-Pair-Share is a learning method to promote cooperative learning and consists of three phases:
The educator asks a question, the learners take a few minutes to think, compare answers with their partner and share these results with the whole group. This method can be used to activate prior knowledge, as a revision exercise or to actively engage students with a topic.
